A reusable fastening device, comprising a first and a second end member and a suspension member characterized in that the first and the second end member each comprises a first releasably engageable member, which comprises a first substrate and one or more hook type prongs having a base, a shank and an engaging means. The base of the one or more hook-type prongs is adhered to the first substrate of the first releasably engaging member. The first and second waist region each comprise a second releasably engageable member, which comprises a second substrate and one or more loop-type prongs having a base, a shank and an engaging means. The base of the one or more loop-type prongs is adhered to the second substrate of the second releasably engaging member.The first end member is releasably engageable with the first waist region and the suspension member. The second end member is releasably engageable with the second waist region and releasably engageable with the suspension member.
